This Cookies Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on hiringfrom.net, which is operated by Marsons Media Ltd., a Canadian corporation trading as Hiring From. Please read it with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website places on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage in your browser, do the same job. Some are needed for the website to work. Others tell us how the website is used.
2. What we use
Needed for the website to work
The website remembers your choice of light or dark display in your browser's local storage, so that the page looks the same on your next visit. Our hosting and security tools may set short-lived technical cookies to keep the website running and to block spam and abuse. These are not used to track you.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, added through Google Site Kit, to count visits and see which pages are read, how people reach the site, and whether a booking button is used. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which usually last up to two years. The information is sent to Google and stored on its servers. We use it in aggregate to improve the website.
Booking
Booking is run by Calendly. When you open the booking window or a page with the booking calendar on it, Calendly may set its own cookies to run the booking and to prevent abuse. Calendly's own policies describe them.
Spam protection
Where a form uses Google reCAPTCHA, Google sets cookies and reads information about your device to tell people from automated programs.
We do not use cookies to sell advertising, and we do not use advertising or remarketing cookies on this website.
3. No cookie banner
We do not show a cookie banner. By using the website you accept the cookies described in this policy. If you do not want them, you can refuse or delete cookies in your browser at any time, as described below. If you are in a place where the law requires your consent before analytics cookies are set, please block them in your browser or use the opt-out below before you browse.
4. Your choices
- Most browsers let you block cookies, accept them only from some sites, or delete them. The help section of your browser explains how. If you block all cookies, parts of the website, such as booking, may not work.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing Google's browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- You can clear local storage in your browser settings, which also removes the saved light or dark choice.
5. Changes
We may update this policy, for example if we add or remove a tool. We post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
6. Contact us
If you have questions about this policy, use the contact page of this website.
